Rio 40 Drinks

1. Rio Star

Ingredients:
4 parts (2 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Gold
1 part (0.5 oz) of Honey
1 Star fruit
Guaraná soda
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Cocktail Glass. Squeeze the Star fruit to get about 2 oz of juice. Combine the honey, Cachaça Rio 40° Gold and the juice into the shaker and shake vigorously. After that, add ice cubes into the shaker and shake a little bit more. Strain into the glass and top up with well chilled Guarana soda. Garnish with a slice of fruit.

2. Betty Blue in Rio

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (0.5 oz) of peach schnapps
1 part (0.5 oz) of dry vermouth 3 drops of blue curacao
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Cocktail Glass. Put everything in the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into the glass. Garnish with a cherry.

3. Blue Shark in Rio

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (0.5 oz) of Vodka
1 part (0.5 oz) of Blue Curaçao
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Cocktail Glass. Put everything in the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into the glass. Garnish with a flower.

4. Blue Hawaii in Rio

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (0,5 oz) of Vodka
1 part (0.5 oz) of Blue Curaçao
6 parts (3 oz) of pineapple juice
2 parts (1 oz) of bitter sweet mix

Preparation:
Choose a Cocktail Glass. Put everything in the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into the glass. Garnish with a Hawaiian flower, a slice of orange and un umbrella.

10. Zombie in Rio

Ingredients:
1 part (0.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (0.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Gold
1 part (0.5 oz) of Apricot Brandy
1 part (0.5 oz) of orange juice
1 part (0.5 oz) of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of Grenadine

Choose a Parfait Glass. Put everything in the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain the mixture into the glass and garnish with a cherry and a sprig of mint.

11. Éden in Rio

Ingredients:

2 parts (1 oz) of flower liqueur
2 parts (1 oz) of lemon juice

Choose a Parfait Glass. Put some ice cubes in the glass, in a shaker, combine all ingredients, including extra ice, then shake it quickly. Strain into the glass. Garnish with a Cherry.

12. Rabo de Galo Rio 40°

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Gold
1 part (0.5 oz) of Vermouth Rosso
1 part (0.5 oz) of Cynar
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Old-Fashioned Glass. Put some ice cubes in the glass. Pour all liquids into a cocktail shaker and add extra ice, shake quickly and strain the mixture on the rocks. Garnish with a spiral lemon peel.

13. Da Hora Rio 40°

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
3 parts (1.5 oz) of St-Germain
1 part (0.5 oz) of lemon juice
1 part (0.5 oz) of grapefruit juice
Cava
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Champagne Glass. Put everything in the shaker, except the Cava and shake it vigorously. Strain into the glass. Top up with Cava, and garnish with thin slices of cucumber.

14. Island Breeze in Rio

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
8 parts (4 oz) of pineapple juice
2 parts (1 oz) of cranberry juice
1 dose of angostura bitter

Preparation:
Choose a Parfait Glass. Fill the glass with ice. Pour the ingredients one by one on the rocks. Stir gently with a bar spoon and garnish with lemon slices.

15. Sea Breeze in Rio

Ingredients:
3 parts (4 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
8 parts (1 oz) of cranberry juice
2 parts (1.5 oz) of grapefruit juice

Choose a Highball Glass. Fill the glass with ice and pour the Cachaça Rio 40° Silver on the rocks. Strain grapefruit juice over all and then add the cranberry juice. Stir with a bar spoon, then garnish with a slice of grapefruit, perhaps with a cherry.

Ingredients:
4 parts (2 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
8 parts (4 oz) of orange Juice
1 part (0.5 oz) of Grenadine

Choose a Highball Glass. Fill the glass with ice and pour Cachaça Rio 40° Silver on the rocks. Strain the o orange juice over all, then stir with a bar spoon. After this, pour the grenadine and let it set in the bottom of the glass. Garnish with a slice of orange and perhaps with a cherry.

17. Blue Lagoon in Rio

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (0.5 oz) of Blue Curacao
Sweetened Lemonade

Preparation:
Choose a Highball Glass. Fill the glass with ice and add the Cachaça Rio 40° Silver on the rocks. Pour the Blue Curacao and then the lemonade. Stir gently with a bar spoon and garnish with a lemon wedge.

18. Alien Sky in Rio

Ingredients:
2 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
4 parts (2 oz) of orange juice
3 parts (1 oz) of pineapple juice
2 parts (1 oz) of apricot or Cherry Brandy
1 part (0.5 oz) of Blue Curaçao

Preparation:
Choose a Highball Glass. Mix the pineapple juice and the orange juice into the glass. In a shaker, add all others ingredients, shake well, and then, pour into the glass, over the mixed juice. Garnish with pineapple leaves and a flower.

19. Rio 40° Banana Punch

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
2 parts (1 oz of apricot brandy
2 parts (1 oz) of banana liqueur
1 part (0.5 oz) of lemon juice
Banana slices
Tonic water
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Highball Glass. Put some ice cubes and some banana slices into the glass. In a shaker, combine the Cachaça Rio 40° Silver, Banana brandy, lemon juice and extra ice cubes. Shake vigorously then strain into the glass. Top up with tonic water, then garnish with mint leaves, perhaps with a flower as well.

20. Rio 40° Mint Julep

Ingredients:
5 parts (2.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Gold
15 Mint Leaves
4 teaspoons of refined sugar

Choose a Highball Glass. Fill the glass with the ice cubes. Into a Mix Glass, crush the mint leaves with sugar, then add the Cachaça Rio 40° Gold. Mix well and then pour on the rocks. Garnish with sprigs of mint.

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
6 parts (3 oz) of orange juice
1 parts (0.5 oz) of Galliano
Ice cubes

Choose a Highball Glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Into a Mix Glass, mix the Cachaça Rio 40° Silver and the orange juice, then pour on the rocks. After that, add the Galliano in the glass and stir with a bar spoon. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry.

22. Cuba Libre Rio 40°

Ingredients:
2 parts (1 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver or Gold
1 part (0.5 oz) of lemon juice
Coke soda
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a Highball Glass. Fill it up with ice cubes. In a Mix Glass, add the Cachaça Rio 40° and the fresh lemon juice. Mix well and pour all of it on the rocks. After that, top up with Coke soda and garnish with a lemon wedge.

23. Mai Tai Rio 40°

1 part (0.5 oz) orange Curacao
2 parts (1 oz) of lemon juice
1 part (0.5 oz) of orgeat syrup

1 part (0.5 oz) of Blue Curacao
4 parts (2 oz) of Bittersweet mix
Lemon soda

Preparation:
Choose a Highball Glass. Fill it up with the ice cubes. Pour the Cachaça Rio 40° on the rocks then add the Curacao blue and finally the bittersweet. Top up with a lemon soda then garnish with a Cherry.

25. Fireworks in Rio

3 parts (1.5 oz) of tangerine Schnapps
3 parts (1.5 oz) of tangerine juice
2 teaspoons of Sugar

1 part (0.5 oz) of coconut liqueur.

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
2 lemons
2 tablespoons of sugar
Crushed ice
Preparation:
Choose a Highball Glass. Cut lemons into four buds, remove seeds. In a cocktail shaker, crush the lemons with the sugar. Add in the shaker, the Cachaça Rio 40° Silver and the ice, shake vigorously. Pour the mix into the glass and garnish with lemon wedge.

32. Caipi Strawberry Rio 40°

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (0.5 oz) of fresh lemon juice
3 or 4 fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons of sugar
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose a tall glass. Crush the strawberries together with the sugar inside the cocktail shaker. You can use a Muddler. Add all other ingredients and shake vigorously. Pour everything into the glass and garnish with a strawberry.

33. Caipi Pineapple Rio 40°

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 medium pineapple
4 fresh mint leaves
2 tablespoons of sugar
Crushed ice
Preparation:
Use the fruit peel as a cup. Remove the pulp from the fruit while preserving the rind. In a cocktail shaker, crush the pineapple pulp, the mint leaves and sugar. Add into the shaker, the Cachaça Rio 40°, the ice and then, shake vigorously. Pour the mix into the fruit peel and garnish with a few pineapple leaves and an umbrella.

34. Caipi Grape Rio 40°

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 part (1.5 oz) of lemon juice
6 Fresh Grape Berries
2 tablespoons of sugar
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Choose an Old-Fashioned Glass. Put the fruit and the sugar into shaker, and then crush well. Add ice and the Cachaça Rio 40°, then shake vigorously. Pour the mix into the glass and garnish with grapes on a stick.

35. Caipi Watermelon Rio 40°

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
6 cubes of fresh watermelon
1 tablespoons of sugar
ice cubes
Preparation:
Remove seeds if possible. Put the watermelon cubes into the glass, add the sugar and crush well. Add ice cubes and pour the Cachaça Rio 40° on the rocks. Stir with a bar spoon and garnish with a watermelon slice.

36. Caipi Passion Fruit Rio 40°

Ingredients:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
1 Fresh Passion Fruit
1 tablespoons of sugar
Crushed ice
Preparation:
Choose an Old-Fashioned Glass. Remove the fruit pulp with a spoon. Pour everything into the shaker and shake it vigorously. Pour the mix into the glass and garnish with a cherry.

37. Caipi Lichee Rio 40°

Ingredientes:
3 parts (1.5 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
6 fresh Lychee
1 tablespoons of sugar
Ice cubes

4 parts (2 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
20 Fresh Blueberries
1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoons of sugar
Crushed ice

Choose an Old-Fashioned Glass. Put the fruits, ginger and sugar in the shaker and crush well. Add ice and the Cachaça Rio 40°, then shake vigorously. Pour the mix into the glass and garnish with the fruits on a toothpick.

39. Caipi Tangerine Rio 40°

Ingredients:
4 parts (2 oz) of Cachaça Rio 40° Silver
Half Fresh Tangerine
1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
2 tablespoons of sugar

Preparation:
Choose an Old-Fashioned Glass. In a cocktail shaker, add the tangerine buds without seeds, ginger and sugar. Crush all together and then pour the Cachaça Rio 40° Silver. Shake vigorously. Pour the mixture into the glass and garnish with the buds on a toothpick
